Paramount has officially established a release window for the upcoming remake of 'Possession.' According to coverage from TheWrap, the film is scheduled for a June 2027 release. The production is being helmed by director Parker Finn. The cast features Callum Turner and Margaret Qualley in leading roles. The studio is preparing the project for a wide theatrical debut during the summer movie season of 2027. Multiple industry publications are tracking the announcement, with reports appearing simultaneously from The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, and Yahoo.

IndieWire specifically notes that Paramount is positioning the 'Possession' remake as a summer blockbuster. These reports collectively emphasize the strategic timing of the release and the high-profile nature of the lead actors involved. The alignment of these outlets suggests a coordinated announcement from the studio regarding the project's timeline. This development is significant because it marks the first concrete date for the reimagining of the property. The project brings together director Parker Finn and a lead cast consisting of Margaret Qualley and Callum Turner.

While the coverage focuses primarily on the release schedule and the casting, the decision to place the film in the summer window indicates Paramount's expectations for the film's commercial performance and its intended scale as a major studio release.
