## Executive Summary
Mafia: The Omertà Collection is officially announced for current-gen platforms, bringing upgrades and series integration.

## Intelligence Brief
Current reporting shows that a next-generation version of Mafia: Definitive Edition has been officially announced for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms, alongside PC releases for a broader bundle. According to coverage from outlets including Insider Gaming, Gematsu, and Push Square, the title is part of a newly announced compilation package titled Mafia: The Omertà Collection. Push Square notes that the Mafia remake joins The Old Country on PlayStation 5 as part of this full series collection, which features sixty frames per second performance and visual upgrades. Wolf's Gaming Blog previously highlighted that the title had been rated for current-generation systems prior to the formal announcement, while ixbt.games confirmed the next-generation version announcements for both major console families. Coverage heavily emphasizes the bundle aspect of the announcement, focusing on how the individual remade title integrates into the wider franchise offering alongside The Omertà Collection branding.

Insider Gaming and Gematsu detail the multi-platform availability spanning PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, while Push Square zeroes in on the technical enhancements and the specific inclusion alongside The Old Country on Sony's console hardware. The reporting highlights that these updates bring modern technical standards, notably targeting a sixty frames per second framerate alongside the implemented visual upgrades, though the specific technical parameters for each individual platform are not fully detailed in the current headlines. Contextually, this trend follows a trail of industry developments where prior ratings spotted by outlets like Wolf's Gaming Blog preceded official publisher disclosures. The introduction of Mafia: The Omertà Collection places the polished remake of the original title directly alongside other entries in the franchise, such as The Old Country. This bundling strategy reflects ongoing industry trends of packaging definitive editions and new entries together for current-generation hardware, allowing players to experience the narrative sequence with updated visual fidelity and performance metrics that were absent from original console generations.

Future developments will depend on official disclosures regarding exact release dates, pricing structures, and detailed breakdown specifications for the visual enhancements across each supported platform. Coverage does not yet specify the exact launch window for the collection or whether physical editions will accompany the digital releases across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Observers and players will monitor outlets such as Insider Gaming, Gematsu, and Push Square for further announcements concerning the rollout of Mafia: The Omertà Collection and its companion titles.
