## Executive Summary
Dolly Parton misses the Dollywood launch of the NightFlight Expedition coaster amid ongoing health concerns.

## Intelligence Brief
Recent coverage details the debut of the NightFlight Expedition coaster at Dollywood, which welcomed its first riders during a special celebration highlighting screens and rapids. Outlets reporting on the launch include wjhl.com, WATE 6 On Your Side, Page Six, Yahoo, WVLT, Knoxville News Sentinel, and WLOS. A central focus of the reporting is the absence of Dolly Parton, who did not attend the opening event. Outlets such as Page Six and Yahoo noted that she cancelled her appearance at the last minute due to continued health issues, while other reports mentioned a health update provided during the unveiling and raised questions regarding health fears following her withdrawal from the big event. Coverage across the participating news organizations heavily emphasizes the dual nature of the new attraction, which blends physical coaster elements with screen-based media, as captured by WLOS and WATE 6 On Your Side.

WATE 6 On Your Side specifically identifies the financial scale of the new addition, mentioning a cost figure associated with the project. Outlets like wjhl.com, WVLT, and Knoxville News Sentinel focused heavily on the anticipation leading up to the preview and launch events, contrasting the excitement of the public ride debut with the notable absence of the park's famous namesake. Context provided within the headlines points to the significant public interest surrounding Dolly Parton's health status and her direct association with Dollywood events. The last-minute cancellation at such a major park milestone drew immediate attention from entertainment and regional news sources alike, amplifying speculation found in headlines from Yahoo regarding health fears after pulling out of another major appearance. Readers tracking the story are presented with a mix of park celebration for the new infrastructure and persistent public concern over Parton's ability to participate in scheduled public appearances.

Looking forward, coverage does not yet specify future public appearance schedules for Dolly Parton or whether she will reschedule park visits following the NightFlight Expedition launch. Future reporting is expected to monitor both public reception of the newly opened coaster and any additional health updates or statements issued regarding Parton's status. Observers and fans will rely on continued updates from regional outlets and entertainment news providers to track further developments at the park.
