## Executive Summary
NASA has announced 'MAX POWER,' a new aerospace expo and airshow hosted at the Kennedy Space Center to honor America's 250th birthday.

## Intelligence Brief
NASA has officially unveiled its newest aerospace expo and airshow, titled MAX POWER, which will take place at the Kennedy Space Center. According to reporting from NASA (.gov) and Space, the event is designed to be an immersive aerospace festival. The festivities will include a significant presence from the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, who are scheduled to perform as part of the airshow proceedings. This event marks a major public gathering at the space center, combining elements of a traditional airshow with an aerospace exposition focusing on flight and space exploration. Coverage of the announcement has been widespread across regional and industry outlets.

FOX 35 Orlando, Spectrum News 13, and Florida Today have all provided details on what attendees can expect from the event at the Kennedy Space Center. Aviation Week specifically highlights the nature of the gathering as an aero expo. The reporting emphasizes a high-profile lineup of participants, with the Orlando Sentinel noting that the event will feature a pairing of Apollo and Artemis astronauts alongside the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, creating a bridge between different eras of American space flight. Context provided by Vero News indicates that the MAX POWER event serves a specific commemorative purpose, as it is intended to honor America's 250th birthday. By bringing together legacy Apollo astronauts and current Artemis astronauts, the expo aims to showcase the progression of aerospace achievement.

The inclusion of the Air Force Thunderbirds adds a military aviation dimension to the celebration, emphasizing the breadth of aerospace power. This timing links the technological achievements of NASA with the historical milestone of the nation's quarter-millennial anniversary. Looking ahead, the coverage suggests the event will be a focal point for those interested in experiencing high-performance aviation, as evidenced by the 'Strap yourself in and feel the Gs' framing used by Space. Future updates are expected to provide more specific logistics and schedules for the participating astronauts and the Thunderbirds. While the initial announcement establishes the scope and the commemorative intent of the festival, further details regarding tickets or specific exhibition displays at the Kennedy Space Center have not yet been fully detailed in the current reports.
