## Executive Summary
An i24NEWS crew was attacked in Belfast, Northern Ireland, while filming a documentary series focused on antisemitism.

## Intelligence Brief
A team of Israeli journalists from the i24NEWS channel was subjected to an attack while operating in Northern Ireland. According to reports from i24NEWS and The Times of Israel, the crew was in the region specifically to film a series of reports and a documentary centered on the subject of antisemitism. The reports confirm that the journalists were targeted while they were actively engaged in their professional duties of documenting hate speech or discriminatory patterns within the area. Multiple news organizations have highlighted the event, including i24NEWS, which reported on the attack against its own staff. Further coverage from The Times of Israel and VINnews emphasizes that the crew was specifically filming content regarding antisemitism at the time of the encounter.

The reports from jpost.com explicitly locate the attack in Belfast, adding a specific geographical marker to the event. The collective coverage across these four outlets focuses on the intersection of journalistic activity and the hostile environment the team encountered while investigating a sensitive social issue. Contextually, the event is significant because the journalists were filming a documentary on antisemitism, a topic that addresses prejudice and hate. The attack took place in Northern Ireland, a region with its own complex history of conflict and tension. By targeting a crew from an Israeli news organization, the attackers interrupted a project intended to shed light on the prevalence of antisemitic sentiment.

The specific focus of the i24NEWS report was to create a series of documentaries, indicating a planned, multi-part investigation into these issues before the violence occurred. Future developments will depend on the findings of any local investigations into the attack in Belfast. Coverage does not yet specify the identity of the attackers, the extent of injuries sustained by the i24NEWS team, or whether any arrests have been made. Observers will be watching to see if i24NEWS continues its documentary series on antisemitism despite the assault. Further reports from The Times of Israel or jpost.com may provide updates on the security measures for foreign journalists operating in Northern Ireland or the official response from local authorities regarding the safety of the press.
