## Executive Summary
Marvel Studios has expanded its 2028 cinematic calendar by officially adding a 'Ghost Rider' film starring Ryan Gosling to its release schedule.

## Intelligence Brief
Marvel Studios has officially locked in its release slate for 2028, including the addition of a new 'Ghost Rider' film. According to reporting from IGN, the production has set a specific release window for this project, scheduling it to arrive in theaters in July 2028. This announcement marks a significant expansion of the studio's long-term planning, integrating a high-profile lead actor into the established cinematic universe. The addition of this title ensures that the studio has a consistent presence in the summer movie market for that calendar year. Coverage from Variety and Gizmodo emphasizes that the 'Ghost Rider' project is not a standalone event but rather part of a crowded 2028 slate.

Variety specifically notes that this film represents the third Marvel movie currently on the 2028 calendar, highlighting the density of the studio's upcoming production cycle. Deadline reports that these 2028 Disney dates were made public via D23, providing a formal confirmation of the scheduling. The collective reporting across these outlets focuses on the strategic timing of the release and the casting of Ryan Gosling in the title role. To understand why this development is significant, it is necessary to look at the broader scheduling context provided by the reports. The integration of 'Ghost Rider' into a slate that already contains two other Marvel films indicates a high volume of content production for the 2028 season.

The mention of D23 as the source of the Disney dates underscores the official nature of the announcement, as this event is the primary venue for the company to reveal its future corporate and creative roadmap. The involvement of Ryan Gosling adds a specific layer of star power to the project. Observers should now watch for further details regarding the other two Marvel films already scheduled for 2028, as coverage currently identifies 'Ghost Rider' as the third entry on that list. Future updates will likely focus on the remaining dates within the Disney 2028 calendar mentioned by Deadline. While the July release date for Ryan Gosling's film is confirmed, the specific titles and dates for the other two Marvel productions in 2028 remain the primary points of interest for those tracking the studio's output.
