> **Open Intelligence Dossier** · First detected: 2026-08-17 17:07 UTC · Category: Entertainment

## Executive Summary
Marvel has released an official 15-title watchlist on Disney+ to prepare viewers for the upcoming release of Avengers: Doomsday.

## Intelligence Brief
Marvel has officially confirmed a curated watchlist designed to prepare audiences for the upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday. This specialized list, which has been made available via Disney+, consists of 15 essential entries comprising both movies and television shows. Coverage of this announcement has been widespread across major entertainment and gaming outlets. IGN, Polygon, and Empire Online all reported the confirmation of the list's existence and its availability on the Disney+ streaming platform. IMDb has also highlighted the specific number of essential titles included in the guide.

Additionally, Forbes has pointed out that the specific composition of this watchlist may potentially reveal secrets regarding the direction of the plot for Avengers: Doomsday, suggesting that the selection of titles is a deliberate narrative clue. This development is significant because the Marvel Cinematic Universe is an expansive interconnected franchise. The requirement to view a specific set of 15 movies and shows indicates that Avengers: Doomsday relies on a precise set of prerequisites to be fully understood. By consolidating these requirements into a single official list, Marvel is guiding the audience toward specific storylines that the studio deems critical for the upcoming cinematic event. This prevents viewers from having to guess which previous installments are relevant to the current narrative arc.

Moving forward, observers will be monitoring the specific titles included in the 15-entry list to discern patterns in the storytelling. Since the deadline for viewing these titles is set for December, the timeline suggests the film's release is imminent. The focus now shifts to whether the selection of these specific movies and shows confirms theories about returning characters or plot twists. Further updates will depend on the official rollout of the list and the subsequent analysis of its contents by the fan community and critics.
