## Executive Summary
Eight-time Pro Bowler Von Miller is set to join the Dallas Cowboys, signaling a major overhaul of the team's EDGE rusher position.

## Intelligence Brief
The Dallas Cowboys are moving forward with a significant restructuring of their defensive line as eight-time Pro Bowler Von Miller prepares to sign with the organization. According to coverage from CBS News, Miller is a DeSoto native, meaning this professional move represents a homecoming for the veteran athlete. This acquisition is part of a broader strategy by the Dallas front office to overhaul the EDGE position. Multiple outlets are tracking the implications of this signing. CBS Sports emphasizes that Miller's arrival is a key component of the ongoing EDGE overhaul for the team. Simultaneously, the official site of the Dallas Cowboys has highlighted comments from Brian Schottenheimer, who stated that the organization believes you can never have enough pass rushers.

This alignment between the coaching staff's philosophy and the front office's acquisitions suggests a focused effort to prioritize the pass rush. The coverage indicates a coordinated push to strengthen the defensive front through the addition of established elite talent. Contextual analysis from Yahoo Sports suggests that Miller's entry into the locker room creates immediate volatility for other players. Specifically, the report identifies that five current Cowboys players have been placed on the roster bubble as a direct result of this signing. This dynamic illustrates the high stakes of the move, as Miller's presence necessitates the removal of other personnel to accommodate his role. The tension between adding an eight-time Pro Bowler and maintaining roster limits underscores the aggressive nature of the Cowboys' current defensive strategy and the pressure it places on the existing depth chart.

Future developments will center on the finalization of the contract and the subsequent roster cuts. Based on the report from Yahoo Sports, the primary point of interest is which five players will be impacted by the roster bubble. Observers will be watching to see how the defensive rotation is reorganized under the guidance of the coaching staff. Because Brian Schottenheimer has publicly advocated for a surplus of pass rushers, the team's final roster composition will reveal how they intend to integrate Miller's experience with the remaining EDGE talent to maximize their defensive output.
