## Executive Summary
Sony has expanded the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogs with four new titles alongside recent software updates for Helldivers 2.

## Intelligence Brief
Four new games have become available for download for subscribers of the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers. In addition to these catalog additions, recent technical maintenance has occurred for other major titles on the platform. Specifically, Helldivers 2 received update 1.007.001 on August 17, which implemented various fixes for both stratagems and weapons within the game. Coverage of these developments is led by Push Square, which focuses on the availability of the four new titles for the Extra and Premium membership levels.

Meanwhile, MP1st provides details on the Helldivers 2 update, specifying the exact version number and the date the fixes were applied. ComicBook.com reports on a separate addition to the PlayStation 5 ecosystem, noting that a Capcom game that was previously an exclusive for the PlayStation 2 has been released on the PS5 and is available for free to certain users. These updates highlight the ongoing effort to integrate legacy content and maintain current live-service titles. The release of a former PS2 exclusive from Capcom onto the PS5 demonstrates a trend of bringing older titles to modern hardware, while the PS Plus additions serve as the primary value driver for those paying for the higher-tier subscription services.

The timing of these releases suggests a coordinated push of content and stability fixes for the PlayStation user base during the third week of August. Observers should monitor the specific titles added to the PS Plus catalogs, as the current coverage from Push Square mentions the number of games but does not list every title by name. Additionally, the specific criteria for which users receive the Capcom PS2 exclusive for free remains a point of interest based on the report from ComicBook.com. Future reports will likely clarify if more legacy titles from Capcom are planned for the PS5 or if further updates for Helldivers 2 will follow the August 17 patch.
