## Executive Summary
The IDF targeted a meeting of Hamas Nukhba force commanders at a Gaza City cafe, resulting in at least six deaths according to multiple reports.

## Intelligence Brief
According to reports from The Jerusalem Post and Ynetnews, the military operation specifically targeted Hamas commanders. Palestinian media reports indicate that at least six individuals were killed in the strike, while an additional ten people were wounded. The operation took place in a densely populated area of the city, focusing on a specific location where Hamas leadership was believed to be gathered. Coverage from The Times of Israel emphasizes that the target of the strike was a meeting of commanders from the Nukhba force, which is described as an elite unit of Hamas.

This specific detail regarding the Nukhba force commanders is highlighted as the primary objective of the IDF action. These details are further corroborated by reports from Ynetnews, which specifies the location of the strike as being within the Gaza port area, and The Jerusalem Post, which confirms the strike occurred at a cafe. News & World Report notes the timing of this military action, stating that the strike occurred the day after a meeting took place between Jared Kushner and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This chronological detail places the Gaza City airstrike in the immediate aftermath of high-level diplomatic discussions.

The report relies on information from medics regarding the casualty counts in the wake of the strike, adding a layer of medical reporting to the military claims made by the IDF. Future developments to monitor include official confirmation of the identities of the commanders targeted in the Nukhba force meeting. While Palestinian media has provided figures on the killed and wounded, the specific names and ranks of the Hamas commanders involved have not yet been detailed in the available coverage. Observers will likely look for further statements from the IDF regarding the success of the mission and additional reports from medical personnel on the status of the ten wounded individuals.
