## Executive Summary
NVIDIA GeForce NOW expands browser compatibility by adding official support for Mozilla Firefox at up to 1440p and 120 FPS.

## Intelligence Brief
Recent coverage from outlets including VideoCardz.com, Windows Central, PC Gamer, and 9to5Google details a significant platform expansion for NVIDIA GeForce NOW, which has officially added support for the Mozilla Firefox web browser. According to reporting by PCWorld, this new capability arrives alongside Firefox 154, an update that addresses numerous security bugs while introducing the streaming functionality. Windows Central specifies that the integration enables users to stream games directly through the browser at resolutions reaching up to 1440p and frame rates of 120 FPS. ExtremeTech notes specifically that Windows users can now play GeForce Now titles entirely in-browser, expanding accessibility beyond previously supported software without requiring dedicated application installations. Additional reporting from the NVIDIA Blog, Tech-Insider, Korben, and CGMagazine emphasizes the scale of the game library accessible through this new browser integration.

Tech-Insider mentions that the platform hosts over 2,000 games, which users can now access through the newly supported browser. PC Gamer describes the development by noting that with this addition, support is now extended to the popular alternative browser five years after Chrome gained similar functionality. Outlets such as 9to5Google further contextualize the rollout by confirming that the feature is live now, bringing browser-based streaming options to users who prefer Mozilla's software over Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or standalone applications. The context surrounding this trend highlights the ongoing evolution of cloud gaming platforms toward broader browser compatibility. Historically, major cloud services prioritized Chromium-based browsers, leaving alternative ecosystems with limited or unofficial pathways for streaming.

The addition of Firefox bridges a long-standing gap for users who utilize Mozilla's browser as their primary interface. Coverage does not yet specify whether all features available in the native application or Chrome client are fully mirrored in the Firefox implementation, nor does it detail potential platform expansions for non-Windows operating systems within the current release cycle. Future developments to watch will depend on ongoing coverage from technical publications tracking user adoption and potential performance updates for the new browser integration. Observers will likely monitor whether additional performance tiers or non-Windows operating systems receive optimized Firefox streaming capabilities in subsequent browser or platform updates. As reporting continues, outlets are expected to follow up on how the Firefox 154 release interacts with cloud gaming stability over extended play sessions, and whether further browser platforms will be integrated into the GeForce NOW ecosystem.
