## Executive Summary
Baltimore Ravens center Danny Pinter has been ruled out for the season following a severe knee injury sustained during a joint practice with the Minnesota Vikings.

## Intelligence Brief
Baltimore Ravens center Danny Pinter was carted off the field on Wednesday during a joint practice session with the Minnesota Vikings. According to reports from the Baltimore Sun and NBC Sports, Pinter suffered a torn patellar tendon, an injury that will sideline him for the remainder of the season. The incident occurred during a series of collaborative training sessions between the two NFL teams, which also included a preseason game preview as detailed by the Minnesota Vikings organization and FOX 9 Minneapolis-St. Coverage of the injury is widespread, with reports appearing in the Baltimore Sun, NBC Sports, CBS Sports, and the official Baltimore Ravens communications.

Yahoo Sports highlighted comments from Jesse Minter regarding the nature of the injury, describing it as scary. While the Ravens focus on the loss of Pinter, other outlets like MPR News and the Daily Norseman have focused on the broader joint practices, including the Vikings receivers receiving tips from Randy Moss and the defensive performance of Dallas Turner. The timing of the injury creates significant strategic challenges for Baltimore's offensive line. The New York Times reports that Pinter was a potential starting center, and his absence adds a level of uncertainty to the unit protecting Lamar Jackson.

According to Ravens Wire, the team had already been planning to increase the workload of Ethan Pocic prior to the injury, suggesting a shift in the depth chart was already underway before Pinter was ruled out for the year. Future attention will be directed toward how the Ravens restructure their offensive line in the wake of this loss. Based on reports from talkSPORT and the New York Times, the primary focus is on the replacement of the center position and the resulting impact on the protection of the quarterback. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings continue their preseason preparations, with Yahoo Sports analyzing statistical guesses and player performance, such as the struggles of Christian Darrisaw, following the joint practice sessions.
