## Executive Summary
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 arrives on Nintendo's Switch 2 following a decade-long Microsoft deal, though early performance results are mixed.

## Intelligence Brief
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has officially launched on the Nintendo Switch 2. According to reporting from My Nintendo News, the port includes a specific feature allowing for a mouse mode that utilizes the console's Joy-Con controllers. This technical addition aims to provide an alternative control scheme for players transitioning to the new hardware.

Coverage from My Nintendo News specifically highlights the implementation of the mouse mode via Joy-Cons, while Pure Xbox has focused its reporting on the visual fidelity of the game elsewhere. Pure Xbox provides a detailed look at how Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 appears when running on the Xbox Series X|S. By contrasting these reports, it becomes evident that the discourse is split between the new functionality available on the Switch 2 and the established graphical benchmarks seen on Microsoft's own high-end hardware.

The move is significant because it breaks a long period of exclusivity or absence of the series on Nintendo's handheld and home console ecosystems.
