## Executive Summary
Philanthropist MacKenzie Scott returns to fiction with a dystopian novel featuring sex-crazed presidents, published via Substack.

## Intelligence Brief
MacKenzie Scott, the ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, has released a new dystopian novel. The book is described as a nightmare scenario featuring sex-crazed presidents, including a specific character who is a president raised in South Africa. Rather than partnering with a traditional publishing house, Scott has chosen to release her first novel in thirteen years through the platform Substack. This literary venture marks a return to what the Wall Street Journal describes as her first love: fiction. Coverage of the book's release has been widespread across several major media outlets.

The New York Post and TMZ emphasize the provocative nature of the plot, specifically highlighting the sex-crazed nature of the presidential characters. Simultaneously, inc.com focuses on the strategic choice of publishing on Substack, noting that Scott could have selected any publisher given her profile. The Wall Street Journal frames the release as a return to a personal passion, while 2oceansvibe News highlights the specific detail regarding the South Africa-raised president. This literary release occurs alongside continued reporting on Scott's massive philanthropic efforts and her financial history. According to The Economic Times and The Times of India, Scott has given away more than $26 billion to over 2,500 nonprofits.

These reports also detail her role in helping to abolish $40 billion in medical debt, a feat made possible after she sold half of her Amazon stake. Other reports from Yahoo and StyleCaster mention that Scott is reuniting with her first love following backlash regarding how her divorce settlement funds were spent. Future attention will likely center on the reception of the novel on Substack and how Scott balances her return to fiction with her philanthropic work. Current coverage indicates a duality between her public image as a billionaire philanthropist erasing medical debt and her creative identity as a novelist exploring dystopian themes. There are no further details in the current reports regarding a wider release or the specific mechanics of the Substack publication beyond the platform choice itself.
