## Executive Summary
Cleveland Browns head coach Todd Monken remains undecided on his starting quarterback as the team approaches the new season.

## Intelligence Brief
Cleveland Browns head coach Todd Monken has not yet named a starting quarterback for the team, according to reporting from Dawgs By Nature. The decision remains pending as the organization evaluates its options at the most critical position on the field. This lack of a designated starter persists as the team moves through its preparation phase, leaving the depth chart open and the starting role unsettled for the time being. Coverage from Yahoo Sports emphasizes the specific possibility regarding the role of Deshaun Watson.

The outlet raises the question of whether Coach Monken will provide Watson with a two-game audition to determine his viability as the primary signal-caller. This suggests a potential strategy where the starting position is not granted outright but is instead earned through a short-term trial period during the early stages of the schedule. This uncertainty is significant because the quarterback position is the focal point of the Cleveland Browns offense. The ongoing deliberation by Todd Monken indicates a competitive environment or a lack of definitive performance data from the available candidates.

The discourse surrounding a potential audition for Watson highlights the stakes involved in selecting the right leader for the offense and the cautious approach currently being taken by the coaching staff. Future developments to watch include whether Todd Monken officially names a starter or if the team implements the two-game audition mentioned by Yahoo Sports. Observers are waiting to see if Watson is given this specific opportunity to secure the job. Until a formal announcement is made, the Browns' starting quarterback situation remains an open competition according to the available reporting from Dawgs By Nature and Yahoo Sports.
