## Executive Summary
Ex-Forza Horizon developers have secured Focus Entertainment as the publisher for their upcoming open-world racing title, Clutch.

## Intelligence Brief
The open-world racing game titled Clutch has officially secured a publishing partner to bring the project to market. According to an announcement from focus-entmt.com, Focus Entertainment has entered into a formal partnership with Maverick Games to publish the title. The game is being developed by a team consisting of former Forza Horizon developers, a detail highlighted across multiple industry reports. The project is specifically identified as an open-world racer, and current plans indicate a release window scheduled for spring 2027. The title is slated for a multi-platform launch, targeting both PC and consoles. Industry coverage of this development has been widespread among gaming news outlets.

Gematsu and ixbt.games both reported on the news that the project had finally found a publisher. OutNow provided specific details regarding the spring 2027 release timeline and the intended platforms for the game. Push Square focused on the technical promise of the title, specifically identifying it as a promising racer for the PlayStation 5. The reports collectively emphasize the pedigree of the development team, noting their previous experience working on the Forza Horizon series as a primary point of interest for the gaming community. Contextually, this partnership marks a significant milestone for Maverick Games, as the coverage suggests the search for a publisher has concluded. The involvement of ex-Forza Horizon developers provides a background of expertise in the open-world racing genre, which is a critical factor in the expectations surrounding Clutch.

By partnering with Focus Entertainment, the developers now have the necessary infrastructure to handle the publishing and distribution of the game across various hardware ecosystems. This move positions the title to compete in the high-fidelity racing market on next-generation consoles and PC. Looking forward, the industry will be watching for further updates as Maverick Games moves toward the spring 2027 launch date. Based on the reports from Push Square and OutNow, the focus will likely remain on the game's performance on the PS5 and other consoles. While the partnership with Focus Entertainment is now confirmed, further details regarding specific gameplay features or final platform lists beyond the general PC and console mention have not yet been specified in the current coverage. The primary timeline for the project is now set for early 2027.
