## Executive Summary
The Seattle Seahawks face significant roster losses after rookie Bud Clark and offensive lineman Mason Richman suffer long-term injuries during a preseason game.

## Intelligence Brief
The Seattle Seahawks experienced two major player injuries during a preseason matchup against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday night. Rookie Bud Clark, identified across coverage as either a safety or a linebacker, suffered a broken ankle during the contest. Simultaneously, offensive lineman Mason Richman sustained an injury that is expected to keep him sidelined for a significant duration. According to reports, both athletes are expected to be unavailable for several months, marking a substantial blow to the team's depth as they navigate the preseason phase of their schedule. Multiple sports media outlets have prioritized these developments, with ESPN and NBC Sports explicitly confirming that both Clark and Richman are out long term.

NBC Sports specifically noted that the recovery period for both players will span months. SFGATE highlighted that Bud Clark was one of two major injuries sustained during the game against the Titans, while the Seattle Seahawks outlet provided the specific diagnosis of a broken ankle for the rookie. Field Gulls further emphasized the severity of the situation, reporting that the offensive lineman is feared to have a long-term injury. This situation matters because the timing of the injuries occurs during the critical preseason evaluation period when teams finalize their active rosters. The broken ankle reported by the Seattle Seahawks outlet indicates a severe physical setback for Clark, while the status of Richman's injury remains categorized as long-term by ESPN and Field Gulls, limiting the team's flexibility in the coming weeks.

Looking forward, the Seahawks will need to address the absence of these two players as they move toward the regular season. Coverage from NBC Sports and ESPN confirms that neither player will return for months, meaning the team must find replacements for a starting-caliber offensive lineman and a rookie defensive contributor. Future updates will likely focus on how the team reshuffles its depth chart to compensate for the loss of Richman and Clark following the Sunday night loss to the Titans.
