## Executive Summary
Leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra suggest a major design shift that has sparked accusations of Apple imitation.

## Intelligence Brief
Recent reports and leaks indicate that Samsung is planning a significant redesign for the upcoming Galaxy S27 series. According to coverage from 9to5Google, the company is reportedly bringing back a major design element that had previously been absent, signaling a shift in the visual identity of its flagship line. Specifically, new CAD renders of the Galaxy S27 Ultra have surfaced, showcasing a modified rear camera design. Furthermore, reporting from finance.biggo.com suggests that the Galaxy S27 Ultra may be launched in two different sizes, moving away from a single ultra-premium dimension. The visual changes have drawn significant attention from several technology publications.

Android Central has described the Galaxy S27 Ultra as appearing to be an outright copy of the iPhone in the latest leak. Similarly, Android Authority notes that if these specific renders are accurate, Samsung will likely face continued claims regarding the imitation of Apple's hardware aesthetics. While some outlets focus on the similarity to competitors, Geeky Gadgets describes a leaked Galaxy S27 Pro concept as a hint toward what could be Samsung's boldest redesign to date. Contextually, this trend reflects the ongoing competition between the two largest smartphone manufacturers in terms of industrial design. The emergence of CAD renders—computer-aided design files—often precedes official hardware reveals, providing a glimpse into the physical chassis and component placement.

The focus on the rear camera layout and the potential for multiple size options for the Ultra model suggests Samsung may be experimenting with its product tiering and ergonomics to better compete in the high-end market. Future developments to monitor include the verification of the leaked CAD renders as the official launch approaches. Observers will be looking for confirmation on whether the Galaxy S27 Pro concept translates into a production model and if the two-size strategy for the Ultra variant is officially adopted. The industry remains attentive to whether Samsung will lean into these bold redesigns or pivot to avoid the copycat claims highlighted by Android Authority and Android Central.
