## Executive Summary
NetEase has announced a January 15, 2027, global launch for its anime-style open-world action game Ananta across multiple platforms.

## Intelligence Brief
NetEase has officially announced that its upcoming urban open-world action title, Ananta, will launch globally on January 15, 2027. The game is scheduled for a simultaneous release across several platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, Android, and iOS. The announcement was accompanied by the release of a new trailer showcasing the title's gameplay and urban setting. This timing places the launch of Ananta in early 2027, positioning the title as a major global release for the developer across both console, mobile, and desktop environments. Coverage of the announcement is widespread across several gaming media outlets.

Game Informer reports on the new trailer and the confirmed release date, while Inven Global specifically identifies NetEase as the entity behind the global launch. GamingBolt provides the full list of supported platforms, including the mobile versions for iOS and Android. Industry context provided by Push Square highlights a potential scheduling clash or proximity to another major industry release. According to the outlet, Ananta could release just eight weeks after the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6 on the PlayStation 5. This proximity suggests a highly competitive window for open-world titles on the PS5 hardware during the first quarter of 2027.

The inclusion of mobile platforms alongside high-end consoles like the PS5 indicates that NetEase is pursuing a cross-platform strategy for the global rollout of the urban action experience. Future developments to monitor include further gameplay reveals following the latest trailer and the specific launch details for the mobile storefronts. Since the global release is set for January 15, 2027, observers will be tracking how NetEase manages the rollout across PC, PS5, Android, and iOS. The industry is currently focused on the overlap between this release and the anticipated arrival of GTA 6, as noted in the reporting from Push Square, to see how the two open-world titles perform in a short timeframe.
