> **Open Intelligence Dossier** · First detected: 2026-08-25 15:07 UTC · Category: Technology

## Executive Summary
Leaked footage reveals an hour of gameplay from a canceled open-world Iron Man project developed by Avalanche Studios.

## Intelligence Brief
The leaked material provides a detailed look at an open-world experience based on the Marvel character, showing approximately one hour of gameplay from an early build of the project. The game was developed by Avalanche Studios, the organization known for creating the Just Cause series. This discovery allows the public to see the mechanical direction and visual style of a title that never reached a commercial release. Coverage of the leak has been reported by multiple industry outlets including Insider Gaming, GamingBolt, and Eurogamer.

These reports emphasize that the leaked content originates from an early build of the game, providing a window into the development process at Avalanche Studios. Eurogamer specifically highlights the open-world nature of the project and the studio's pedigree as the developers of Just Cause, while Insider Gaming and GamingBolt focus on the fact that this footage from a canceled Marvel title has now surfaced online for public viewing. To understand the significance of this leak, it is necessary to note the relationship between the developer and the intellectual property. Avalanche Studios brought its experience in creating large-scale, destructive open worlds—a staple of the Just Cause franchise—to a project based on the Iron Man character from Marvel.

The cancellation of the game means that this leaked hour of footage represents some of the only available evidence of how the studio intended to translate Iron Man's capabilities into a playable, open-world format. Observers will likely monitor for further releases of footage or documentation regarding the project's development history. Based on the reports from Eurogamer, GamingBolt, and Insider Gaming, the primary focus remains on the specific gameplay elements displayed in the hour of leaked early build footage. Because the project was canceled, any further information regarding the reasons for its termination or the extent of the remaining archived builds has not yet been specified in the current coverage.
