## Executive Summary
The Denver Broncos dominated the Minnesota Vikings 34-6 in their third and final preseason game of 2026, highlighted by a standout performance from Sam Ehlinger.

## Intelligence Brief
The Denver Broncos secured a decisive 34-6 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in the third game of the 2026 NFL preseason. According to a game recap from ESPN and reporting from the Denver Broncos, the home team put forth a strong performance to rout the visiting Vikings. A primary catalyst for the Broncos' success was quarterback Sam Ehlinger, who WRAL reports had a big night featuring three touchdowns and an 88-yard strike. The victory serves as the preseason finale for both franchises, providing a final evaluation of roster talent before the regular season begins. Coverage of the event was widespread across major sports outlets and local news. Yahoo Sports provided logistics on where to watch the game, including live stream and TV channel information, while FOX 9 Minneapolis-St.

Paul offered a live watch option for viewers. Analytical perspectives followed the game, with Yahoo Sports publishing a breakdown of the winners and losers from the contest. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings released their own official game observations, and the Daily Norseman hosted a dedicated discussion regarding the matchup between the two teams. Contextual reporting from The Denver Post reveals that the Broncos' strategy for this finale involved resting nearly every starter, with 30 players total sitting out the game. This cautious approach extended to quarterback Bo Nix; The New York Times reports that the Broncos reversed course regarding his usage, stating that Nix probably would not play in the preseason finale. This strategy suggests the team felt sufficient confidence in their primary starters, shifting the focus of the game toward depth players and backup quarterbacks like Ehlinger.

Looking ahead, the focus moves toward the final roster cuts as teams transition from the preseason to the regular season. Based on the coverage, the primary point of interest will be how the performance of non-starters, particularly those highlighted in the 'winners and losers' analysis by Yahoo Sports, impacts the final team composition. Observers will be monitoring whether the momentum from Ehlinger's three-touchdown performance influences the Broncos' depth chart. The Vikings will likely review their observations from the loss to make final adjustments to their lineup.
