## Executive Summary
Jeremy Renner has sparked widespread speculation regarding a potential return to the MCU in 'Avengers: Doomsday' via a new image.

## Intelligence Brief
Speculation is mounting regarding the cast of the upcoming film 'Avengers: Doomsday' following a new image shared by Jeremy Renner. According to reporting from Yahoo, Renner has teased a return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Hawkeye, marking a potential return after a five-year gap. This activity comes despite the fact that there has been no official announcement from Marvel regarding his inclusion in 'Avengers: Doomsday'. The teaser has led to immediate discussions among entertainment outlets about which legacy characters will appear in the new project. Coverage of these developments is being driven by several entertainment news sites.

Forbes reports that an original Avenger has hinted at a potential return, while MovieWeb specifically notes that this tease occurred through a new image. Additionally, ComicBookMovie.com reports that rumors are intensifying not only around Renner but also concerning the potential involvement of the Hulk and the Scarlet Witch. Murphy's Multiverse further expands on this by suggesting that a trio of stars from the Infinity Saga could be joining the cast of the film. This trend is significant because it centers on the return of original members of the Avengers team during a transitional period for the franchise. The mention of the Infinity Saga stars highlights a possible effort to bring back established figures from the early phases of the MCU.

The coverage emphasizes the five-year period since Renner's previous involvement, suggesting that his return would be a notable event for the series' continuity and for fans of the original team ensemble. Future developments to monitor include official cast confirmations from Marvel studios. While current reports from ComicBookMovie.com and Murphy's Multiverse emphasize rumors regarding Hawkeye, the Hulk, and the Scarlet Witch, these remain unverified. The industry is watching to see if more images or statements from the mentioned actors will emerge to substantiate the rumors of an Infinity Saga reunion in 'Avengers: Doomsday'.
