## Executive Summary
Xbox has launched a Free Play Days event featuring Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and other major titles, including a discounted Standard Edition.

## Intelligence Brief
Xbox is currently hosting a Free Play Days event that allows users to access several games at no cost. According to reports from XBOX Wire and Pure Xbox, the promotion runs from August 27 through August 30. The lineup of available titles includes the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta, Control Ultimate Edition, and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. These games are provided as a limited-time opportunity for players to trial the content before the window closes on August 30. Coverage from various outlets emphasizes the diversity of the offering.

GAMINGbible notes that Xbox gamers can access five new games, including a AAA hit, while Neowin explicitly lists Control and the MW4 beta as part of the event. OpenCritic reports that Xbox has officially made four games 100% free for this period, with the addition of a bonus freebie. The reporting across these sites highlights that the free access is tied specifically to the Xbox platform, limiting the availability of this particular promotion to those users. Context regarding Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is provided by EventHubs, which specifies that the title is free to play for the weekend on only one platform. In addition to the free trial period, EventHubs reports that the Standard Edition of the game is currently on sale for a price of $10.

This combination of a free weekend trial and a significant price reduction for the full version represents a strategic push for the title during the Free Play Days window. Observers should monitor the status of these titles as the August 30 deadline approaches. While the free access period is scheduled to end on that date, the coverage indicates that players have a narrow window to experience the Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta and other listed titles. Future updates will likely confirm if the $10 sale price for the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Standard Edition persists beyond the conclusion of the Free Play Days event.
