## Executive Summary
Uncertainty grows regarding the preorder schedules for the iPhone 18 Pro and a rumored folding iPhone as new release timelines emerge.

## Intelligence Brief
According to a report from Macworld, pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro may begin later than the typical schedule observed in previous years. This suggests a shift in the traditional rollout pattern that consumers have come to expect from the company during the late summer and early autumn season. The timing of these pre-orders remains unconfirmed, leaving a gap in the known deployment cycle for these specific device models. Coverage of the situation is being tracked by both Macworld and Forbes.

While Macworld focuses on the possibility of a delayed pre-order start date compared to usual cycles, Forbes is reporting on the iPhone 18 Pro release timeline specifically. Forbes indicates that a new date has entered the schedule, though the specific details of this date are part of an evolving timeline. Both outlets are monitoring the scheduling shifts, highlighting a lack of consensus or official confirmation from Apple regarding the exact moment customers can begin purchasing the hardware. This trend matters because Apple typically adheres to a strict and predictable annual release cadence for its flagship Pro models.

Any deviation from this pattern, such as the later pre-order start mentioned by Macworld, could indicate changes in production, supply chain logistics, or a strategic shift in how the company introduces new hardware. Future developments to watch include official confirmation of the pre-order dates and the verification of the new date mentioned in the Forbes report.
