## Executive Summary
A young girl has been rescued alive from flood debris in Rasuwa, Nepal, after remaining trapped for three days.

## Intelligence Brief
A young girl has been successfully rescued after being buried under debris for three days following flash floods in Rasuwa, Nepal. Reports indicate that rescue teams were able to locate the child by following sounds described as a 'cat's cry' coming from beneath the rubble. Once the sounds were identified, teams worked to free her from the debris and pull her to safety. Coverage of this event is widespread across several international outlets, including NHK WORLD-JAPAN News, the Deccan Herald, and The Telegraph.

These reports emphasize the duration of the girl's entrapment and the specific conditions of the rescue in the aftermath of the flash floods. There is a slight discrepancy in the reported age of the survivor across these sources; while the Deccan Herald, NHK WORLD-JAPAN News, and Chosun Ilbo identify her as a 6-year-old, Asia Economy refers to her as a 5-year-old, and The Telegraph describes her as a 7-year-old. The context for this rescue is a series of flash floods that have impacted the region of Rasuwa. The event is significant due to the extreme timeframe of the child's survival, as she remained buried under debris for a period of 60 hours before rescuers could reach her.

The technical difficulty of the operation is highlighted by the fact that the rescue team had to rely on auditory cues to pinpoint the girl's exact location within the rubble of the disaster zone. Future attention will likely focus on the continued recovery efforts in Rasuwa as rescuers search for other potential survivors of the flash floods. Coverage does not yet specify the current medical condition of the girl or the total number of casualties resulting from the floods in this specific area. Observers will be watching for official updates from Nepalese authorities regarding the scale of the damage and the status of other missing persons buried under the flood debris.
