## Executive Summary
The Seattle Mariners have placed Emerson Hancock on the 15-day injured list due to an adductor strain, triggering immediate roster adjustments.

## Intelligence Brief
The Seattle Mariners have officially transferred Emerson Hancock to the 15-day injured list after he suffered an adductor strain. The injury specifically affects Hancock's groin area, leading to his immediate removal from the active roster. Consequently, the team has recalled Davila to fill a void created by this medical setback. Coverage of the injury is widespread across major sports media outlets. NBC Sports and CBS Sports both confirmed the transfer to the 15-day IL, while MLB Trade Rumors explicitly identified the nature of the injury as an adductor strain.

The Seattle Times noted that the injured list placement involved a starting pitcher. Additionally, Seattle Sports provided further updates in their Mariners Notebook, which included information regarding both Hancock and a player named Donovan, ensuring local fans were apprised of the team's current health status. This development creates a critical opening in the Mariners' pitching rotation. According to reports from MLB.com, the team's strategy to address this gap involves the likely return of Miller to the rotation. The timing of Hancock's injury is significant as it forces the front office to rely on recall options like Davila and the re-integration of previous rotation members to maintain their competitive standing during the ongoing series against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Future developments will center on the recovery timeline for Emerson Hancock as he manages the adductor strain. Observers will be monitoring whether Miller successfully returns to the rotation as expected by MLB.com. Additionally, the performance of the recalled Davila will be a focal point for the team's immediate tactical adjustments. Coverage does not yet specify a return date beyond the minimum 15-day window mandated by the injured list placement.
