## Executive Summary
Ukraine has expanded its long-range strike capabilities, targeting logistics hubs in Belgorod and a Wildberries facility in Yekaterinburg.

## Intelligence Brief
In Yekaterinburg, a drone hit a high-rise apartment building during an operation where Ukrainian forces targeted a Wildberries hub. This particular strike is notable for its distance, as The Kyiv Independent reports the target is located over 1,600 kilometers from the border. Simultaneously, attacks occurred in Belgorod, where Ozon facilities were hit and a thermal power plant reportedly caught fire. Coverage of these events is widespread across international and regional outlets. Reuters reports that authorities in Belgorod have confirmed two deaths resulting from the missile attack on that city, specifically noting the impact on Ozon facilities.

The Moscow Times focused on the drone strike against the residential high-rise in Yekaterinburg, while Українська правда provided details regarding the fires at the Belgorod thermal power plant and Ozon warehouses. Ukrinform further confirmed that the Ozon facility in Belgorod came under attack. These events mark a significant shift in the geography of the conflict. While strikes in Belgorod are more common due to its proximity to the border, the targeting of a warehouse in Yekaterinburg represents a deep penetration into Russian territory. The focus on logistics companies like Wildberries and Ozon indicates a strategic effort to disrupt commercial infrastructure and supply chains.

The intersection of military targets, such as the thermal power plant, and civilian infrastructure, such as the high-rise apartment building, highlights the volatility of these operations. Future developments will likely center on the official Russian response to the deep-strike capability demonstrated in Yekaterinburg. Coverage has not yet specified the total extent of the damage to the Ozon warehouses or the Wildberries hub beyond the reported fires and the hit on the apartment building. Observers will be watching for further confirmation of casualties in Yekaterinburg and updates on the operational status of the affected logistics facilities as authorities continue to assess the damage.
