## Intelligence Brief
Recent coverage from outlets including Audacy, pitcherlist.com, The New York Times, MassLive.com, The Boston Globe, CBS Sports, Yahoo Sports, and 98.5 The Sports Hub outlines a turbulent series of roster developments for the Boston Red Sox. As Major League Baseball rosters expanded to twenty-eight men, the Red Sox made a flurry of moves, adding to both their lineup and rotation. Among these transitions was the promotion of prospect Jedixson Paez, who was called up to make his major-league debut and start a game at Fenway Park. Reporting from The New York Times, The Boston Globe, and CBS Sports emphasizes the difficult nature of Paez's debut appearance.

The Seattle Mariners capitalized on the rookie starter, mounting an early onslaught that resulted in Paez being rocked for eight runs. Coverage from MassLive.com and Yahoo Sports details that both the pitcher's start and his immediate time in Boston were notably brief. Additional reports highlight other facets of the team notebook, such as Mickey Gasper remaining hot at the plate and the significance of a ninth-inning home run. Context provided across the sports coverage frames these events within the broader framework of September roster expansion across baseball.

The Red Sox turned to their prospect pool to fill immediate rotation needs, specifically bringing up Paez to cover a starting assignment. Coverage does not yet specify the permanent status of the rookie pitcher following his difficult outing, nor does it detail every corresponding roster transaction executed alongside his promotion. Future developments will depend on subsequent announcements from the organization regarding player assignments and rotation adjustments. Observers and fantasy baseball analysts, as noted by pitcherlist.com and 98.5 The Sports Hub, continue to track how the team manages its expanded twenty-eight-man roster following the outcome of the recent series at Fenway Park.
