## Intelligence Brief
A new physical media release for the soundtrack of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has officially entered the market. According to an official announcement from Nintendo, the company partnered with Laced Records to produce this vinyl soundtrack collection. The release consists of a deluxe 8LP boxset, which allows listeners to experience the game's music in a physical format. Coverage of the launch has been extensive across gaming and tech media outlets. Nintendo Life has provided a formal review of the 8LP boxset, while IGN describes the collection as an amazing addition to a Zelda collection.

GoNintendo has focused on the visual aspect of the release, providing readers with a closer look at the deluxe double vinyl album. Meanwhile, OpenCritic reports that this release serves as the first major milestone for the franchise's 40th anniversary celebrations, highlighting the official nature of the drop. This release is positioned within the broader context of the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda. By partnering with Laced Records, Nintendo is providing a high-end audio product aimed at enthusiasts. The scale of the collection, specifically the 8LP format mentioned by Nintendo Life, indicates a comprehensive approach to the Breath of the Wild soundtrack.

This move follows the trend of high-fidelity vinyl releases for iconic video game scores, turning digital soundtracks into tangible collector's items for the community. Future developments will likely center on additional 40th anniversary releases as referenced by OpenCritic. Because this is the first major release of the anniversary period, further products from Nintendo and their partners may follow. The focus remains on how Nintendo will continue to commemorate the four-decade history of the Zelda series through similar deluxe physical media or other anniversary-themed products.
