## Executive Summary
New Illustration Rare cards featuring Maushold, Morpeko, Moltres, and Salamence ex have been revealed for the Pokémon "30th Celebration!" set.

## Intelligence Brief
The Pokémon Trading Card Game is introducing a "30th Celebration!" collection, which includes newly revealed Illustration Rare cards. According to reporting from Pokebeach, the specific cards unveiled feature Maushold, Morpeko, Moltres, and Salamence ex. These additions are part of a wider series of product releases scheduled for September 2026, as detailed by official updates from Pokemon.com. The introduction of these specific artistic variants adds new collectible targets for players and enthusiasts during this anniversary period. Coverage from Pokebeach emphasizes the arrival of these Illustration Rares, while Joseph Writer Anderson specifically highlights the Salamence ex card as a "chase card" for the set.

These reports focus on the visual and collectible nature of the new reveals. Meanwhile, Pokemon.com has provided a comprehensive overview of every TCG product release occurring throughout September 2026, positioning these celebrations within a larger monthly calendar of game expansions and promotional releases. Context for these releases is provided by Beckett, which raises questions regarding the financial viability of these products. Specifically, Beckett examines whether a fresh Pokémon 30th Celebration reprint serves as a smarter purchase for collectors compared to the original cards that are being reprinted. This indicates a market tension between the value of original prints and the accessibility of anniversary editions.

The 30th Anniversary celebration thus serves as both a nostalgic event and a strategic market move for the TCG ecosystem. Looking ahead, there are disruptions to the product rollout that collectors must track. Pokebeach reports that the "30th Anniversary" Binder Collections have been delayed and are not expected to be available until December. Consequently, while the September releases listed by Pokemon.com will proceed, the Binder Collections remain a pending item for the end of the year. Collectors will be monitoring both the availability of the delayed binders and the market performance of the newly revealed Illustration Rare chase cards.
