## Executive Summary
Spencer Pratt and other public figures are slamming actor Ryan Reynolds after he condemned nostalgia for the 1980s.

## Intelligence Brief
A public conflict has emerged after actor Ryan Reynolds made comments condemning nostalgia for the 1980s. Spencer Pratt, identified in coverage as a politician, has aggressively called out the actor for these views. Pratt's criticisms include a suggestion that Reynolds should stick to selling phone plans rather than commenting on the decade. Furthermore, Pratt has asserted that Reynolds is making Americans hate Hollywood, describing the entertainment industry as its own worst enemy in the wake of these remarks. This exchange has triggered a broader wave of public backlash against the actor's perspective on the era. Multiple news outlets are tracking the escalation of this dispute.

The New York Post, Fox News, and TMZ have all reported on Spencer Pratt's direct blasts toward Reynolds. AOL has highlighted the specific nature of Pratt's comments regarding the actor's business ventures and Hollywood's internal failures. Yahoo has focused on the perceived impact of these statements on the American public's view of the film industry. Additionally, Cosmic Book News has reported on a viral post that slams the actor's comments by claiming that Ryan Reynolds was not American, adding a layer of nationality-based criticism to the debate. The controversy has expanded beyond Pratt to include other public figures. Larry the Cable Guy has fired back at Ryan Reynolds over what he describes as a brutal take on the 1980s.

In his response, Larry the Cable Guy specifically mentioned the Cuban Missile Crisis, asking if that was part of the actor's perspective, though the coverage does not specify the exact context of Reynolds' original mention of the event. The Daily Wire has framed the situation as a contrast between an excellent American adventure in the 1980s and what they describe as a bogus journey on the part of the actor. Future developments center on whether Ryan Reynolds will respond to the specific accusations made by Pratt and Larry the Cable Guy. Observers are watching to see if the viral claims regarding Reynolds' nationality continue to gain traction or if the industry debate regarding nostalgia and Hollywood's image will expand. Coverage does not yet specify if other actors or public figures will join the discourse, but the current trend shows a concentrated effort by critics to defend the legacy of the 1980s against Reynolds' condemnation.
