## Executive Summary
Hypershell has unveiled the Halo, a $2,299 AI-powered full-leg exoskeleton designed to provide knee and hip support for hikers and photographers.

## Intelligence Brief
The Hypershell Halo has been introduced as a next-generation full-leg exoskeleton specifically designed to support the knees and hips of users during strenuous activities. Unveiled during IFA 2026, the device utilizes AI to assist those carrying heavy loads or dealing with joint issues. According to technical specifications highlighted in the coverage, the Halo is equipped with 1,490W of power and features a battery capable of supporting a 12-mile range. The device is positioned as a solution for hikers and professionals who need to mitigate the physical strain of long treks or the burden of transporting heavy camera equipment. Multiple media outlets have focused on the practical applications and technical specs of the Halo. Forbes reports that the exoskeleton is priced at $2,299, while Interesting Engineering provides photographic evidence of the hardware and its power capacity.

Android Headlines listed the device as one of the best products of IFA 2026. Further analysis from Yanko Design emphasizes that while previous exoskeletons often ignored the specific needs of the knees, the Halo is designed to address them directly. T3.com offered a first-hand account of the experience, stating that the full-leg system moved the user in unexpected ways. This development comes at a time when wearable robotics are expanding from industrial and medical settings into consumer outdoor gear. The coverage suggests a gap in the market for lightweight support systems that can assist with joint pain or heavy gear carriage. Digital Camera World specifically notes the benefit for those tired of carrying heavy camera equipment, highlighting the transition of exoskeleton technology into a tool for hobbyists and professionals.

This shift focuses on accessibility and the reduction of physical fatigue during outdoor exploration and specialized work. Future attention will likely center on the real-world performance of the AI integration and the longevity of the 12-mile battery range under varying terrains. As the device moves from its debut at IFA 2026 to general availability, observers will be monitoring how the $2,299 price point affects adoption among the hiking and photography communities. Coverage does not yet specify the exact weight of the unit, though freeyork characterizes the exoskeleton as lightweight. The industry will likely watch for user feedback regarding the AI's ability to adapt to different walking paces and incline levels.
