## Executive Summary
UN nuclear agency members draft a resolution to report Iran to the UN Security Council.

## Intelligence Brief
Recent coverage from outlets including NewsCord, The Arab Weekly, India Today, Reuters, and AP News indicates that member states of the United Nations nuclear agency are actively drafting a formal resolution to report Iran to the UN Security Council. According to these reports, the United States and the E3 are driving this push alongside allied nations. Diplomats cited in the reporting note that this concerted effort within the board of the International Atomic Energy Agency sets the stage for a significant diplomatic confrontation. The developing situation highlights renewed international pressure regarding the Iranian nuclear issue, drawing immediate global attention to the actions of the IAEA board. The reporting heavily emphasizes the geopolitical friction surrounding the initiative, specifically pointing out that the move places the United States and its allies on a collision course with other major global actors.

Outlets such as The Arab Weekly and India Today highlight that this diplomatic maneuver creates the framework for a fresh United Nations clash involving Russia and China. Reuters and AP News ground their coverage in accounts from diplomats who confirm the drafting of the resolution targeting Iran. Across the five analyzed articles, the collective framing treats the IAEA board push as a critical escalation point in international diplomacy. Contextually, this development builds upon long-standing international disputes concerning Iran's nuclear program and oversight by the UN atomic agency. Coverage does not yet specify all historical milestones preceding this specific draft resolution, but framing from The Arab Weekly underscores that the nuclear issue routinely serves as a flashpoint for major power rivalries at the United Nations.

The involvement of the E3 alongside the United States mirrors previous diplomatic architectures designed to address Tehran's atomic activities through multilateral channels, while opposition or competing stances from nations like Russia and China form the traditional backdrop of Security Council dynamics. Future updates will depend on formal actions taken by the IAEA board regarding the finalized text of the resolution and how member states vote on the measure. Coverage does not yet specify the exact timeline for a board vote or the precise diplomatic counter-measures expected from Russia and China. Observers and news consumers will need to monitor further dispatches from participating outlets to track whether the resolution successfully passes the IAEA board and officially reaches the UN Security Council agenda.
