## Executive Summary
A brokered ceasefire has taken effect to facilitate critical power line repairs at the occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant following severe safety alarms.

## Intelligence Brief
A brokered ceasefire has officially taken effect to allow for essential repairs at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant. According to reports from Reuters, this agreement was established specifically to enable work on a power line. This action follows a period of extreme instability at the facility, which Energoatom has described as being in a critical condition. The plant has recently suffered from a blackout, leaving the site without electricity and triggering urgent alarms regarding the overall safety of the nuclear installation. Coverage from multiple outlets, including LIGA.net, UA.NEWS, and Цензор.НЕТ, emphasizes that the safety situation at the occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant has reached a critical state.

Energoatom has sounded the alarm over nuclear safety, stating that safety protocols at the site are being systematically destroyed. Further reports from Межа. Новини України confirm the occurrence of a blackout, while the International Atomic Energy Agency provided a technical update designated as Update 365 to track the unfolding situation. This development is critical because the facility's lack of reliable power threatens the stability of the nuclear reactors. According to reports from sud.ua and Українські Національні Новини (УНН), the plant was once again left without electricity, which is a primary concern for radiation and nuclear safety. The urgency of the brokered ceasefire stems from the need to restore power lines to prevent a catastrophic failure, as the current state of the plant is viewed by Energoatom as a critical safety risk to the region.

Attention now shifts to the progress of the repair work mentioned by Inshorts and the stability of the ceasefire. Future updates will likely focus on whether the power lines are successfully restored and if the critical safety conditions reported by Energoatom improve. Monitoring will continue through the International Atomic Energy Agency as the international community watches whether the ceasefire holds long enough to mitigate the immediate risks of the blackout and secure the facility's radiation safety.
