## Intelligence Brief
According to coverage from Nintendo Everything, these additions are expected to significantly change the game's strategic landscape. The update coincides with the announcement that the 2027 Pokémon World Championships will be hosted in Singapore, as reported by THE MAGIC RAIN. This shift in regulation suggests a major overhaul of the competitive environment leading up to the international event. Reporting from OpenCritic emphasizes the return of specific powerful forms within this new release.

Specifically, the coverage confirms that Mega Golisopod and Mega Baxcalibur are returning to the game. While Nintendo Everything focuses on the broader mechanical changes brought by the Z-Mega Evolutions, OpenCritic highlights these individual Pokémon as key components of the new update. The integration of these forms marks a specific return for these creatures into the official competitive rotation.
