## Executive Summary
Zhenhao Zou, a convicted serial rapist serving a life sentence, may face additional assault charges as the Met Police submit new evidence to the CPS.

## Intelligence Brief
Zhenhao Zou, a former PhD student in London who is currently serving a life sentence, may face additional assault charges. According to reports from the BBC and the London Daily News, the Metropolitan Police have handed a file containing further allegations to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). This action follows an ongoing London inquiry into Zou's activities. The latest developments suggest that more victims have been identified, with The Telegraph reporting that he could face new charges involving seven more women. Coverage across multiple outlets emphasizes the scale of the crimes attributed to Zou.

Yahoo News UK and mirror.co.uk both note that he has already raped 10 women, with the latter describing him as one of Britain's worst sex predators. GB News specifically identifies Zou as a Chinese serial rapist and reports that police have uncovered more alleged victims during their investigation. The coordinated reporting from the BBC, The Telegraph, and other sources highlights the transition of the case from a police inquiry to a prosecutorial review by the CPS. Context provided by the reporting indicates that Zou's legal status is already severe, as AOL.com confirms he is currently serving a life sentence for his previous crimes. The fact that he was a PhD student in London provides a backdrop to the environment where these crimes occurred.

The case has drawn significant attention due to the serial nature of the assaults and the continued emergence of victims as the Metropolitan Police continue their investigation into his history of violence. Future developments depend on the review of the file submitted to the CPS. Observers are waiting to see if the Crown Prosecution Service will formally bring the new charges against Zou based on the evidence provided by the Met. Coverage from the London Daily News indicates that the inquiry is continuing, meaning further allegations could emerge as the police process more information. The primary focus remains on whether the seven additional women mentioned by The Telegraph will lead to a formal expansion of his current criminal record.
