## Executive Summary
DWTS contestant Julia Stiles responds to a 'shady' social media post from Juilliard regarding her dance background and past roles.

## Intelligence Brief
Actress Julia Stiles, a contestant on Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars, has recently responded to a social media post from the Juilliard School that has been characterized as 'shady.' According to coverage from E! Online, Yahoo, and AOL, Stiles was 'publicly checked' by the institution regarding a famous part of her past. In response, Stiles has moved to set the record straight about her history with dance. The actress is currently paired with professional dancer Ezra Sosa for the competition, and the two have already acknowledged facing a 'hard day' during their rehearsals, as reported by Entertainment Weekly. Multiple outlets, including Thought Catalog and IMDb, emphasize that Stiles has held an obsession with Dancing with the Stars for over a decade, though she previously declined invitations to join the show because she was too scared.

This context is central to current reporting, as the Juilliard post appears to tease her regarding this hesitation. Furthermore, Just Jared and People report that Stiles is clarifying her actual dance background to the public. Specifically, she revealed to People that she utilized a body double for the dance sequences while filming the movie Save the Last Dance, a fact that may impact perceptions of her current ballroom performance. Adding to the current narrative, Entertainment Weekly notes that Stiles believes her association with Save the Last Dance could actually be a disadvantage in the ballroom setting. Amidst the public scrutiny and the pressure of the competition, Stiles is also marking a personal milestone.

People and AOL report that she is celebrating her ninth wedding anniversary with her husband, Preston J. Cosmopolitan provides additional background on the couple, detailing their meeting on set and their relationship status as she navigates the rigorous rehearsal schedule for the latest season of the show. Future coverage is expected to focus on how Stiles and Ezra Sosa handle the technical demands of the competition following their admitted difficult rehearsal day. Observers will likely monitor if the tension between Stiles and Juilliard escalates or if further clarifications regarding her professional training emerge. As the season progresses, the narrative will likely contrast her cinematic history in Save the Last Dance with her real-time progress in the ballroom, specifically whether the 'disadvantage' she anticipates becomes a reality during her judged performances.
