## Executive Summary
Samsung begins rolling out the One UI 9 beta, bringing new intelligence features like Call Brief and My FanCam to the Galaxy S25 and other devices.

## Intelligence Brief
Samsung has officially launched the One UI 9 beta update, introducing a suite of new functional tools to its mobile ecosystem. According to a report from SamMobile, the Galaxy S25 is among the primary devices receiving this update, which features the introduction of new capabilities known as My FanCam and Call Brief. These specific features are designed to enhance the user experience on the S25 series as the company tests the new software version. The rollout indicates a broader shift in Samsung's interface capabilities for the current generation of hardware. Coverage from multiple outlets highlights that the beta expansion is not limited to the flagship S series.

SammyGuru reports that Samsung has opened the One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy A55, extending the testing phase to mid-range hardware. Furthermore, Android Authority reports that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are also receiving updates. Notably, these foldable devices are reportedly picking up tricks and features typically associated with the Galaxy S26 and the Fold 8, suggesting a crossover of high-end functionality across different device lines. This trend matters as it signals the transition toward the next major iteration of Samsung's user interface. The inclusion of the Galaxy A55 in the beta process shows a strategy to ensure stability across diverse hardware tiers, from the budget-friendly A series to the premium S series.

The mention of features from the S26 and Fold 8 being integrated into current foldables suggests that Samsung is leveraging its future development pipeline to add value to existing Z series devices during this software transition. Observers should now monitor the stability of the One UI 9 beta as it spreads across more models. The focus remains on how the My FanCam and Call Brief features perform in real-world scenarios on the Galaxy S25. Additionally, the industry will be watching to see if more Galaxy A series devices receive the beta update following the Galaxy A55 rollout, and whether more 'tricks' from the S26 and Fold 8 are pushed to the Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 as the testing phase progresses.
