## Executive Summary
Rebel Wolves has officially begun development on The Blood of Dawnwalker 2 following the platinum-selling success of the first title.

## Intelligence Brief
Development is officially underway for the next chapter in the Dawnwalker saga, with Rebel Wolves beginning work on The Blood of Dawnwalker 2. According to reports from MP1st, Inven Global, and TechPowerUp, the studio has already kicked off the development process. MP1st specifically notes that the developers have started hiring new staff to support the creation of this upcoming sequel. This news arrives as the original game continues to generate significant activity and interest within the gaming community. Coverage of the franchise varies across several major gaming outlets.

While Inven Global and TechPowerUp focus on the confirmation of the sequel, TweakTown reports on the commercial performance of the first game, noting that Blood of Dawnwalker went platinum within two days of release. Meanwhile, GamesRadar+ highlights a specific overlap in player demographics, stating that approximately 58% of the game's Steam player base also played The Witcher 3. Other outlets are focusing on the current game's experience, with Kotaku offering a critique regarding the game's tendency to bail players out of difficult choices. Contextual data suggests the title has a strong connection to the fanbase of CD Projekt Red, as evidenced by the high percentage of Witcher 3 players engaging with the title. This intersection of audiences, combined with the rapid platinum sales status reported by TweakTown, underscores the commercial viability of the Dawnwalker IP.

Additionally, the current community is still deeply engaged with the first game's content, as seen in Video Games Chronicle's publication of a guide for the Selfish trophy and the specific location of the Fishmonger. Future developments will center on the expansion of the Rebel Wolves team as hiring continues for the next chapter. Observers can expect further updates on the production of The Blood of Dawnwalker 2 as the studio builds upon the sales momentum of the original. The focus remains on how the studio will handle the narrative and mechanical feedback, such as the choice-related criticisms mentioned by Kotaku, as they transition into the development of the second installment in the saga.
