## Executive Summary
Robert Whittaker reacts to Michael Page's UFC Paris performance amid reports of the fighter's sudden removal from rankings and potential UFC exit.

## Intelligence Brief
Robert Whittaker has expressed significant confusion regarding Michael ‘Venom’ Page’s recent performance at UFC Paris. According to reporting from MMA Fighting, Whittaker admitted he was so befuddled by the display that he did not even want to watch the bout. The former champion's reaction centers on the specific nature of Page's approach during the event, which has sparked a broader debate within the combat sports community regarding fighting styles and the criteria used for victory in the octagon. Coverage from MMA Mania highlights that Whittaker has praised Page's specific point-fighting strategy, though he suggested that a live feed of the judges' scorecards would be necessary to fully comprehend how the fight is being scored in real-time. This analysis is coinciding with more critical reports from other outlets.

Sherdog reports that another former UFC fighter has called out Michael Page following reports that the fighter may be exiting the organization, indicating a divide in how Page's current trajectory is being viewed by his peers. The situation is further complicated by administrative shifts within the promotion. Yahoo Sports reports that the future of Michael Page within the UFC is currently in doubt. This uncertainty stems from a sudden removal of Page from the official rankings, a move that typically signals a change in a fighter's standing or their relationship with the organization. The combination of a polarizing performance in Paris and the sudden loss of ranking status has placed Page's professional standing under intense scrutiny.

Observers are now monitoring whether the reported UFC exit mentioned by Sherdog is formalized and how the promotion responds to the ranking removal noted by Yahoo Sports. The focus remains on whether Page's point-fighting style, which Whittaker found so perplexing, will continue to be viable in the UFC or if the reported organizational tensions will lead to a permanent departure. Further clarity is expected regarding the specifics of his contract status and the reasons behind the ranking adjustment.
