## Executive Summary
Paleontologists have uncovered the world's first known adult Tyrannosaurus rex trackway, revealing the dinosaur's walking pace from 66.5 million years ago.

## Intelligence Brief
Researchers have identified a trackway dating back 66.5 million years that captures an adult Tyrannosaurus rex moving at a walking pace. This discovery is characterized as the first known footpath attributed to an adult T. rex. A key technical detail of the find is the stride length, which is reported to be 4 meters. The evidence provides a rare physical record of the locomotive behavior of one of history's most famous predators during its adult stage. Coverage of this discovery is widespread across several scientific and general news outlets. Phys.org and Popular Science both report on the identification of the footpath and the specific age of the fossils.

IFLScience highlights the specific 4-meter stride length of the animal. Meanwhile, National Geographic focuses on the individual who located the fossils, describing the fossil hunter as an unlikely figure. La Brújula Verde frames the discovery as a way for scientists to effectively watch an adult T. rex walk through the preserved tracks. Context provided by the reports emphasizes that the individual who discovered the Tyrannosaurus trail was a high school teacher. The fact that the trackway was found by a non-professional fossil hunter adds a layer of serendipity to the find. This discovery is significant because it fills a gap in the paleontological record regarding adult T. rex movement.

While skeletal remains are more common, a trackway offers direct evidence of gait and pace that bones alone cannot provide. Future attention will likely remain on the specifics of the trackway's discovery and the analysis of the 4-meter stride. The reports establish that this is the first adult T. rex trackway ever found, meaning further study of this specific site will be essential for paleontologists. Observers will be looking for more data on how this walking pace compares to other large theropods of the same era, based on the newly available physical evidence found by the high school teacher.
