## Intelligence Brief
A new key visual for the opening animation of the game Attack on Titan 3 has been officially revealed. According to reports from GamingBolt, Gematsu, and Niche Gamer, this imagery provides a first look at the animated opening sequence for the title. The visual is being released as part of a promotional push for the upcoming game, signaling that the development of the animation is progressing. This reveal marks a specific milestone in the marketing cycle for Attack on Titan 3 as the project moves closer to its eventual public release. Coverage from noisypixel.net emphasizes that the released visual is a MAPPA anniversary visual.

This specific artwork features several prominent characters from the series, explicitly naming Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and Levi. Other outlets, including GoNintendo and Games Press, have also confirmed the sharing of this key visual across various platforms. The consistency across these six sources indicates a coordinated reveal by the developers and publishers to generate interest in the visual direction of the third installment's opening sequence. Context for this release is provided by Games Press, which notes that KOEI TECMO is using this visual to celebrate the 17th anniversary of the Attack on Titan franchise. The timing of the reveal is directly tied to this anniversary milestone, linking the new game's production to the long-term history of the intellectual property.

The involvement of MAPPA in the anniversary visual highlights the collaboration between the game's publisher, KOEI TECMO, and the animation studio responsible for the imagery. Future developments to monitor include further details regarding the full opening animation that this key visual represents. While the current coverage focuses on the still image, the reports from Gematsu and GamingBolt specifically identify this as part of an "opening animation," suggesting that a full video sequence may follow. Observers will likely look for additional anniversary-related announcements from KOEI TECMO as they continue to commemorate the 17th year of the series alongside the promotion of Attack on Titan 3.
