## Executive Summary
Chelsea faces Leeds United in the third round of the League Cup, featuring a professional debut for 16-year-old Watson.

## Intelligence Brief
Chelsea and Leeds United are meeting in the third round of the League Cup, also referred to as the Carabao Cup or EFL Cup. According to official confirmation from Chelsea Football Club and reporting from We Ain't Got No History, the confirmed lineups for the match have been released. A significant development in the Chelsea roster is the inclusion of Watson, who is 16 years old; BBC reports that Watson is making his professional debut for the club in this specific fixture against Leeds United. Coverage of the event is widespread across sports media. Sports Illustrated has provided a comprehensive preview of the match, including predictions and the team lineups.

Football London focused its reporting on manager Xabi Alonso, documenting his comments regarding four specific injury blows affecting the Chelsea squad, as well as reports concerning Estevao and discussions regarding Arsenal's so-called dark arts. These outlets are providing the primary tactical and personnel context leading into the kickoff. This fixture is critical as it represents the third round of the tournament, which necessitates a winner to advance. The presence of a 16-year-old debutant suggests a rotation of the squad or a willingness to integrate youth players during this stage of the competition. The stakes are further complicated by the injury concerns mentioned by Xabi Alonso, which leave the team managing a depleted roster of available players as they attempt to move forward in the cup.

Immediate attention is focused on how to watch the broadcast and the actual performance of the confirmed starters. Observers will be monitoring whether the youth integration strategy pays off and how the team compensates for the four injuries discussed by Alonso. Further updates are expected regarding the match outcome and any subsequent comments from the coaching staff regarding the debut of Watson and the overall tactical execution against Leeds United.
