## Executive Summary
New amiibo figures for a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake have been revealed following leaks from GameStop's internal database.

## Intelligence Brief
Recent reports indicate that multiple amiibo listings have been discovered within the internal database of GameStop. These leaks have coincided with the official announcement of new amiibo figures featuring Young Link and Zelda, which are scheduled for release in 2027. These figures are tied to a reveal for a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The figures are designed to interact with hardware and software, specifically providing functionality for the upcoming Switch 2 console. Coverage of these developments is being led by Nintendo Life, which first highlighted the presence of the listings in the GameStop system.

IGN has provided further details regarding the reveal of the Young Link and Young Zelda figures as part of the Ocarina of Time remake promotional cycle. Additionally, MyNintendoNews has confirmed the 2027 release window for these specific collectibles. The reports emphasize a direct connection between the physical figures and digital rewards within the gaming ecosystem. To understand the significance of these releases, it is necessary to note the specific in-game content they unlock. According to Yahoo Tech, purchasing these new Zelda amiibo allows players to obtain various in-game masks within the Ocarina of Time experience, which the outlet describes as horrifying.

The integration of these figures is particularly notable because, as Nintendo Life reports, there are specific mechanisms for how these Ocarina of Time amiibo unlocks will function on the Switch 2, marking a transition in hardware compatibility for Nintendo's collectible line. Looking forward, the industry is monitoring the rollout of the Ocarina of Time remake and the subsequent availability of the Young Link and Young Zelda figures. Observers will be watching for more detailed specifications on the Switch 2 unlock process as mentioned by Nintendo Life. Because the official release date for the figures is set for 2027, further updates regarding pre-order availability or additional database leaks from GameStop are expected as the launch window approaches.
