## Executive Summary
Atlus expands the reach of Persona 6 by adding a version for the Nintendo Switch 2 while pursuing a full remake of Persona 4 Golden.

## Intelligence Brief
Recent industry reports confirm that the upcoming title Persona 6 will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2. This hardware expansion marks a significant step for the franchise as it moves toward next-generation platforms. In tandem with this release news, Atlus has revealed its intentions regarding earlier entries in the series. Specifically, the company is dedicating its resources toward the creation of a full remake of Persona 4 Golden. This development follows the release of Persona 3 Reload, with the studio aiming to apply the technical and design lessons learned from that project to the current remake efforts. Coverage of these developments has been highlighted by Gematsu and Inven Global, both of which explicitly report that Persona 6 is adding a version for the Switch 2.

These outlets focus on the platform availability of the new entry. Meanwhile, GamesRadar+ provides deeper insight into the studio's internal strategy. According to GamesRadar+, Atlus is putting all the effort into the Persona 4 Golden remake, explicitly stating a desire to take all the lessons learned from the previous work on Persona 3 Reload to enhance the quality of the new project. To understand the current state of the franchise, it is necessary to look at the sequence of recent Atlus projects. The studio has already executed the remake of Persona 3 via Persona 3 Reload. This established a blueprint for how the company handles the modernization of its older titles.

The decision to apply those specific lessons to Persona 4 Golden indicates a strategic shift toward iterative improvement in their remake pipeline. This context explains why the studio is prioritizing a full remake rather than a simple port of the existing Golden version of the game. Future developments to monitor include the official rollout of Persona 6 across its supported platforms, including the Nintendo Switch 2. Observers will also be looking for further details regarding the development progress of the Persona 4 Golden remake. While the intention to use lessons from Persona 3 Reload has been stated, coverage does not yet specify the exact release window or the specific technical improvements being implemented for the Persona 4 remake. The industry will be watching for official confirmation on the full platform list for Persona 6 as the launch date approaches.
