## Intelligence Brief
Apple has officially revealed the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, with a specific focus on the battery capacities for these two high-end models. According to reporting from the Times of India, these new Pro iPhones are scheduled to go on pre-order tomorrow. The company is introducing several updates to the lineup, with the Times of India highlighting nine major features that potential buyers need to understand before the pre-order window opens. These devices represent the latest iteration of Apple's professional-grade smartphone hardware, designed for users seeking the highest specifications available in the current mobile ecosystem. Coverage from Yahoo Finance emphasizes a significant internal hardware shift, reporting that the iPhone 18 Pro debuts the C2 modem. This development is framed as part of a broader strategy by Apple to continue weaning itself off its reliance on Qualcomm for connectivity components.

By integrating the C2 modem, Apple is moving closer to full vertical integration of its communication hardware. This technical transition is a focal point for financial and tech analysts who monitor Apple's supply chain dependencies and its long-term goal of developing proprietary silicon for all critical device functions. Contextual reporting from MacRumors confirms that Apple has specifically disclosed the battery capacities for both the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max. While the exact numerical values for these capacities are not detailed in the headlines, the public revelation of these specs is a key part of the device launch sequence. Additionally, CNET has addressed the physical vulnerabilities of the new hardware, noting that users managing a "iPhone Duo" face twice the risk of damage. This has led to an emphasis on the necessity of utilizing the best available cases and screen protectors to safeguard the dual-screen setups associated with the current product ecosystem.

Moving forward, the immediate focus will be on the start of the pre-order process as noted by the Times of India. Market observers will likely monitor how the introduction of the C2 modem affects overall device performance and connectivity compared to previous Qualcomm-based models. Furthermore, the industry will be watching for consumer reception of the newly revealed battery capacities. As users begin to purchase these devices, the effectiveness of the protective accessories recommended by CNET will become a practical consideration for those maintaining multiple Apple devices simultaneously.
