## Executive Summary
Participating retailers are offering a special Mewtwo Pokémon TCG Promo Card as part of the Pokémon 30th Celebration festivities.

## Intelligence Brief
A promotional event has been launched allowing collectors to obtain a Mewtwo Pokémon TCG Promo Card at participating retailers. This specific promotion coincides with the broader Pokémon 30th Celebration, an event marking three decades of the franchise. According to an official announcement from Pokemon.com, the Mewtwo card is available as a promo item, though the specific list of retailers participating in the distribution has not been detailed in the provided coverage. This distribution effort is part of a larger series of releases intended to commemorate the anniversary of the brand. Coverage from IGN highlights a new look at Legendary Illustration Rares, indicating that the anniversary celebrations involve high-end artistic variations of cards.

Simultaneously, Joseph Writer Anderson reports that the entire Classic Collection for the Pokémon 30th Celebration has been officially confirmed. This suggests a coordinated rollout of both retail-exclusive promo cards and a wider collection of celebratory products. The emphasis across these outlets is on the visual reveal of new card designs and the confirmation of the full collection's contents for the global fan base. This trend matters now because the 30th anniversary represents a major milestone for the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The introduction of a Mewtwo promo card at retail locations creates a physical touchpoint for consumers, while the Classic Collection provides a structured set of releases for collectors.

The focus on Illustration Rares, as noted by IGN, points to a continued interest in the aesthetic value of the cards alongside their gameplay utility, making these specific anniversary releases highly anticipated within the collecting community. Looking forward, observers will be monitoring the availability of the Mewtwo promo card across various retail locations. Further details regarding the specific contents of the officially confirmed Classic Collection are expected to emerge as the 30th Celebration continues. Additionally, more information regarding the distribution methods and eligibility for the Legendary Illustration Rares may be released, following the initial reveals documented by IGN and other reporting sources.
