## Executive Summary
Ukraine is preparing to deploy the FP-7 ballistic missile, with combat testing and strikes on Russian territory expected within weeks.

## Intelligence Brief
Ukraine is moving toward the operational deployment of the FP-7 ballistic missile, a weapon system developed by Fire Point. According to multiple reports, the missile is nearing its battlefield debut and is expected to be utilized for strikes against Russia. The current timeline for this deployment is described as being a matter of weeks rather than months. These developments indicate that the weapon is transitioning from a development phase into active military application as part of Ukraine's strategic capabilities. Coverage of the FP-7's progress is widespread across several regional and national outlets.

UNITED24 Media and the Kyiv Post both emphasize the "weeks, not months" timeline for the missile's potential use. Additionally, reports from Мілітарний specifically highlight that these ballistic missiles are intended to strike Russia in the very near future. Other sources, including Межа. Новини України and Головне в Україні, focus on the procedural steps of the deployment, noting that the military trial process is now underway. Context provided by the coverage indicates that Fire Point is the entity responsible for the FP-7 system. The focus on military trials reported by Межа. Новини України suggests that the weapon must undergo a formal testing phase before it can be fully integrated into combat operations.

The urgency expressed across these publications suggests a shift toward indigenous ballistic capabilities, allowing Ukraine to conduct long-range strikes using domestically developed hardware rather than relying solely on external systems. Future developments will likely center on the results of the military trials initiated by Fire Point. Observers are watching for the official start of combat testing as outlined by Головне в Україні. The primary point of interest remains the specific window of a few weeks cited by Мілітарний and the Kyiv Post for when the first FP-7 missiles might actually strike targets within Russia. No specific dates for the first launch have been provided, but the proximity of the debut is the central theme of current reporting.
