## Intelligence Brief
Actor Christian Bale has officially opened a new foster care facility known as Together California. Located in Palmdale, the facility is an 11,000-square-foot village that represents a significant financial investment of $22 million. According to reports from ABC7 Los Angeles, the primary objective of the Together California project is to provide a specialized environment aimed at keeping siblings together within the foster care system. This initiative marks the culmination of a long-term effort by the actor to address specific needs within child welfare services. Coverage of the opening has been widespread across various entertainment and news outlets.

Variety focused on the physical scale of the development, highlighting the 11,000-square-foot size of the facility. IMDb and Yardbarker both emphasized the total cost of the project, citing the $22 million price tag and describing the location as a foster care village. Meanwhile, The News International characterized the move as a shift that has 'changed' the existing model of foster care, while ABC7 Los Angeles provided the specific name of the organization and its location in Palmdale. To understand the scale of this project, coverage indicates that the opening of Together California is not a sudden decision but the result of a sustained 17-year mission. The facility's design as a village rather than a traditional center underscores the goal of maintaining family bonds among siblings.

This long-term commitment suggests a strategic approach to philanthropic work in the foster care sector, moving toward a model that prioritizes the preservation of sibling relationships, which is a central pillar of the project's stated mission. Future attention will likely remain on the operational impact of Together California within the Palmdale community. Because the project is described as a change to the traditional model of foster care, observers will be looking for how the village functions in practice. The focus remains on the facility's ability to fulfill its primary aim of keeping siblings together. Current reporting confirms the facility is now open and operational, marking the transition from a nearly two-decade planning phase to active service.
