## Executive Summary
Fantasy owners scramble after Week 1, rewarding Caleb Williams and Josh Allen while Ja'Marr Chase’s slump sparks early waiver moves.

## Intelligence Brief
Week 1 of the NFL season has produced a clear split among fantasy owners, according to CBS Sports. The CBS Sports feature titled “Week 1 Fantasy football overreactions: Early Week 2 waiver wire adds, winners, losers, more” frames the current market as one of rapid adjustment.

Fantasy football’s early weeks are traditionally volatile, with quarterback output often dictating overall league movement. The coverage notes that these dynamics are magnified by the league’s scoring settings, which reward high‑volume passing yards and touchdowns.

Looking ahead, the coverage advises owners to monitor the evolving waiver wire as Week 2 approaches, especially targeting players who may inherit increased targets or favorable matchups. The next round of games will test whether the early adjustments translate into sustained fantasy success.
